First, thanks to all who submitted receipts for this event - you are incredible people and I thank you for supporting local businesses!

This was a lot of fun, Joe Mitchell of YoYo Joe's invited me to come by his store to offer up the official reading of "A Visit from St. Nick" and he provided the costume.

U.S. Congressman John Carney and New Castle County Council President Tom Kovach came by to offer their words of support for local businesses - and we all got a truly amazing demonstration of yoyo skills from Joe and his staff!

OK, even though some might dispute 75 receipts being submitted from the same place by a store employee rather than customers - I never did set up those parameters, so congratulations - you all have pushed beyond the 300 mark.

So, here's the plan.

Friday, December 23 - at Noon, I will be at YoYoJoe's on Route 202 in Wilmington - I will wear a Santa hat and get in front of a camera to offer a dramatic reading of "A Visit from St. Nick" (aka 'Twas the night before Christmas).

Everyone is invited to come out and have some fun.

The video will be posted on Youtube and here on this site for all to enjoy.

And yes, you can still submit your local receipts - I'll be happy to post them here.
