Me thinks your dislike of Christmas in Western Culture has deeper implications and meaning than the "surface" triviality of consumerism and bland warm fuzzies that are perpetrated on us by greed and averice. I too despise the "commercialization" and distortion of Christamas into nothing more than silly stuff. This year I have chosen to embrace every good deed and good word that is offered...it's about Person of Jesus not the theology.
